This is just a memorial to a long lost friend....
My 1956 VW Bug, 1600 dual port, dual weber 40's...with A/C!!
I had to sell it a few moths back....
I cried.
Then, not too long ago, the guy I sold it to called me up and told me he was selling it and I could have first dibs. I saw some pictures...
I cried some more.
It didn't look at all like my bug. He had repainted it all white, and had redone a lot of other things, different rims, etc. It wasn't event the same bug.
I guess some day when I have enough money, I'll buy an old '56, like my old one, and fix it up with my boys, when I have some, that way I can make my bug just how I want it.
Then maybe my tears will dry up...maybe.
Old bug...Rest in peace...
Not everyday that you see something like this......And yes, we could fit all three in the garage!

I love your blog! I really enjoy the bug pix- infact, I am really wanting to purchase one. I think I would look really sweet cruising around Provo in one. How would you feel about that?
